"The downstairs bedroom has lots of sun, and we wanted a room where someone could sleep in the day and we wanted darkness . . . These blinds are absolutely perfect. It's almost like a sheet of plywood is nailed over the window."

"These blackout shades are awesome! My husband is very sensitive to light and doesn't sleep well. He actually requires total darkness to sleep well. These shades really block out all the light! They also make our bedroom look soft, comforting and inviting. We seriously couldn't be happier with these shades."

Honeycomb length incorrect
|
September 21, 2009

"They look good and are very nice quality at a good price but they are an inch too short and I would never try to lengthen them based on the directions. Since they are only down at night noone but me sees it but since they are blackouts they should have erred on the side of too long as you can always pull them up a little. I think for Honeycombs over all it would be better to err a little longer. Length seems to be a problem overall as this is the third order and none of them have been what I measured. The other two (not Honeycomb) were too long and not able to be shortened because of the tapes. Overall good value and good company, just beware of this possible problem. Took a while to figure out how the brackets went as the pictures didn't look like they really went. Watched video about 6 times and finally got it."

Great Product

"We installed these in a sunny, west facing family room. The room tends to get quite warm in the summer and movie watching would be interrupted by the setting sun reflecting on the TV screen. Based upon these things, we decided to remove the old wood blinds and to install blackout shades. Now, the room is cooler already and there is no more sunshine interrupting movies. In the mornings, we can just raise the shades and enjoy the view. Great product!"
